World Body Painting Association Workshops can be for total beginners or for creatively experienced students who wish to learn extra skills. You can book one or more days if you wish to go into more depth on each subject. The courses can be tailored around your requirements and top students get to go on the agency books.

All workshops can be held at Exclusively Themed’s HQ, Blackheath, London SE3, near the beautiful Blackheath Village and historic, maritime Greenwich with its world famous observatory park, stunning architecture and craft/antique/vintage markets/shops.

Our workshops are avalable week days or weekends from 11am to 1.30pm (1.30pm - 2.00 pm break) and then 2.00pm to 4.30pm; alternatively, we can travel to a venue near you!

Longer, part-time courses are also available.

Workshops

  • BODY ART/TEMPORARY TATTOOS

    Create stunning body art designs using sequins, rhinestones, glitter paste and paints. Design temporary tattoos using water/alcohol/stencil techniques.

  • BODY PAINTING

    Get insight into the applications used for adult 'human statues' and character walkabouts. Learn about paint consistency, brushes/effects and total look styling with accessories and props.

  • CHARACTER MAKE-UP

    Try changing your face shape through make-up or turning old or grotesque for the day! Theatrical effects using prosthetics - to amaze and amuse! Learn how to create age lines and wrinkles.

  • FACE PAINTING

    You will be shown how to do an array of enchanting designs for children 3-12 years using clever brush/sponge and paint techniques. These can also be adapted for adults too.

  • HAIR BRING/WRAPPING

    Learn how to do elaborate braids and time-saving wraps using multi-coloured threads, funky beads and charms. Girls from 6-16 love them, plus adults who like a hippy/bo-ho look!

  • HENNA/MHIND

    Showing you how to create traditional North African, Asian and Middle Eastern temporary tattoos, using natural, russet-brown henna skin dye. Body jewels and glitter paste will be added to your designs.

  • PROFESSIONAL MAKE-UP

    Find out all those professional tricks of the trade for stunning looks. Different workshops are available for make-overs, day/evening looks, photographic, glamour, bridal, high fashion/avant-garde.

  • NAIL ART

    Learn how to execute exciting, colourful nail designs - using stick-on nails, varnish, paints, jewels and clever brush work.

  • MAKE-UP FOR BEGINNERS

    Find out how to use make-up to enhance your looks, taking into account your face shape, features, skin type and colour/tone. Ideal for girls' parties age 12-17, or for adults who have never used make-up before.

  • SPECIAL FX

    Have fun learning the basic techniques used to create boils, bruises, gashes, cuts and burns. Great for horror or boys' parties!

  • PERIOD / MULTI–CULTURAL COSTUMES

    Learn about historical silhouettes alongside exact date lines plus national costumes. Total look styling is shown with accessories, wigs/make-up.

  • COSTUME JEWELLERY MAKING

    Design your own rings, bracelets, necklaces and earrings using an array of beads, fixings and charms. Learn about the equipment used.

  • FASCINATORS/HAIR ACCESSORIES

    Learn how to make stunning hair pieces for weddings, burlesque cabaret or party/day wear. Work with feathers/sequins/jewels/silk flowers/netting.
